Re: Hi and Bye thread!
My dear Claire, I DO hope things are improving with you, both with family and your health.
I've been thinking of you and wanting to stop by, but real life and my virtual responsibilities have kept me a wee bit busier than usual.
I've also been wanting to join in on your "Food" April/May challenge and hopefully, will not run out of time before it ends.
That being said, I hope everyone is doing well and that you all have a great weekend!
BTW, I'm seeing some of the animated emoticon gifs I created for Sugah's Place in your stash (eg You've made my day, I'm lovin' that, OMG ... dats gawjus, etc, etc).
So glad you like them enough to use them here. I am flattered, my friend.

Re: Hi and Bye thread!
Sugah thank you for the lovely comment and sorry for the late reply.
I'm doing better thank you, still got family problems but It's not taking up as much time and effort so I don't feel so drained. And I feel much better at the minute, I feel alive and awake for the first time in a while, hopefully it continues!
To bad you were not able to join in the may/june food theme, it didn't seem to be a big hit sadly but we have Junes up, so maybe you would be interested in our coastal theme.
I have put a few favourites of your smilies up Sugah, I hope thats ok as I do love them
Thank you so much for stopping by sugah it truly means the world to me when you find the time.
Re: Hi and Bye thread!
Hello again guys,
Sorry for not being on very much for this past month or two, major family problems at home so I've not been simming for two months now
I'm gonna try and spend abit of time here this month, not massive though so I may disappear for days as I'm still having to cencentrate at home.
Hopefully see you all around the forum

Re: Hi and Bye thread!
Claire, of course it is okay that you're using some of SP custom made (I used a Smiley Generator) emoticons for IS.
Like I said, I am flattered you like them enough to put them in your smiley stash.
I have already posted in there (had a question for you), but I'd truly like to join in on this challenge, as I LOVE all things beachy.
If time allows, I will definitely give it a go, my friend.
Just stoppin' by to say "hi" and sorry I haven't been around for awhile.
Things have been busy around here (real life). It's all I can do to keep up @ SP sometimes.
I've truly been wanting to spend more time with you all here.

Re: Hi and Bye thread!
Now and Then
"Now that I'm fifty-seven",
My mother used to say,
"Why should I waste a minute?
Why should I waste a day
Doing the things I ought to
Simply because I should?
Now that I'm fifty-seven
I'm done with that for good."
But now and then I'd catch her
Trapped in some thankless chore
Just as she might have been at
Fifty-three or fifty-four
And I would say to her
(And I have to bite my tongue)
That if you mean to learn a skill
It's well worth starting young
And so, to make sure I'm in time
For fifty, I've begun
To do exactly as I please
Now that I'm twenty-one.
